In The Sea Of Scars - Poem by Frances Paul

In the Sea of Scars
I drift alone,
Through waves of pain, through the unknown.
A soldier lost, a heart in pain,
Seeking peace in endless rain.

Each scar I bear, a story told,
Of battles fought, of nights so cold.
Yet in the dark, a light remains,
A spark of hope through all the chains.

You found me there, amidst the storm,
With scars like mine, but hearts still warm.
Together now, we brave the tide,
In the Sea of Scars, we won't divide.

For every wound, there's strength to gain,
In every tear, release from pain.
And in this sea where shadows lie,
We find the will to rise, to fly.

So let the waves crash where they may,
In the Sea of Scars, we'll find our way.
For love can heal, and hope can grow,
Even where the darkest waters flow.
